Summer 2025

Welcome to the Innovate2Educate Newsletter

We love, we listen, we learn, we grow.

A Big Thank You!

What a fantastic school year it’s been so far! From growing our Nursery provision to the dedication shown in GCSE and A-levels, we are incredibly proud of the effort and commitment from our Staff, Pupils, Governors, Trustees, and our wider community.

Thank you to Sid Slater, our retiring Chair of Trustees

We would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Sid Slater, our retiring Chair of Trustees. His dedication, insight, and service have helped shape the Trust’s progress and impact. We are pleased Sid will remain involved in his role as a Member.

Thank you to Sid!

Joe Parkes – our new Chair of Trustees

We are delighted to welcome Joe Parkes as our new Chair of Trustees. A Trustee since 2024, Joe brings extensive leadership experience in HR, Operations, and Business Transformation, along with a strong passion for education. As a parent at one of our schools, he understands the importance of community and learning.

Welcome Joe!

News from our Schools

We are thrilled to be rolling out the iPad project across several of our First and Middle Schools, giving every pupil 1:1 access to an iPad for use both in school and at home. This exciting initiative will not only enhance their learning and engagement but also help develop essential digital skills, preparing them for the world around them and the future beyond school.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who have attended our recent meetings, where school teams shared more about the project. We are incredibly grateful for your overwhelming support and encouragement, which means so much to our school leaders and staff as they continue working to give your children the best possible educational experience.

Well Done!

Bramshall Meadows First School earned a ‘Good’ in its first Ofsted—congratulations to the whole school community!

Thomas Alleyne’s High School successfully maintained its Good rating and continues to offer fantastic experiences: Duke of Edinburgh, trips to CERN and France, Year 9 residentials, a colour run, and a major expedition to Peru this summer for 50 pupils and 6 staff!

All Saints CE First School also deserves recognition for a successful SIAMS inspection—well done!

Curriculum Development

Our Middle Schools have been working hard on the curriculum they deliver to your children, embracing new ideas and building on past successes, with valuable support from the trust’s school improvement team throughout this journey.

A Sad Goodbye!

Everyone at the Innovate2Education Partnership would like to send our thanks and well-wishes to Mrs Wilbraham-Jones, Head at Windsor Park Middle School. Mrs Wilbraham-Jones has been part of Windsor Park for over 20 years and has played a vital role in the shaping of the school that we see today.

Mrs Wilbraham-Jones will be hugely missed by all of the staff and pupils of Windsor Park and our wider community. We would like to send her our thanks and well-wishes for her next chapter!

Thank You for Taking Part in Our Community Listen

A big thank you to the parents who joined our recent Community Listen events. Your views help shape how we grow and connect with our school communities.

One key theme was the need for greater clarity on the Trust’s role. In response, we will be launching a monthly newsletter next academic year, sharing updates on our work and its impact across schools.

Thank you once again for engaging with us. We look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to shape the future of our schools.

Promoting Courtesy and Collaboration

It has come to my attention that, on rare occasions, interactions in our school communities haven’t reflected our shared values. While this concerns only a small number of parents, I want to thank the vast majority who continue to engage with respect and support, this is deeply appreciated.

Our schools are safe, respectful spaces, and all staff deserve to be treated with courtesy. We ask that any concerns be raised calmly and constructively, in person or online, so we can continue to work positively together.

Looking Ahead with Excitement

As we head into the last half term of this academic year, we are excited to see our children learning beyond the classroom walls. There will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy (hopefully!) some glorious sunshine while learning in new and inspiring ways.

It’s been a jam-packed year for i2e, and we are very proud of all that’s been achieved across our schools. With even more planned for 2025–2026, we can’t wait to take the next steps together.

Are you ready? We are! Let’s make it another fantastic year.

Best wishes
